19th Amendment: |
It was August 18, 1920, this marked the day when women had freedom to vote. Women were finally allowed to vote for once with this new amendment that was put in place. Women's Suffrage had come to an end. Through the decades females would march around protesting for their rights. The amendment was introduced in 1878 by Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Then later the amendment was ratified on August 18, 1920. They could not of wished for anything better.
